I am wanting to close one room off and open up another room to look like the computer drawing, I have no experience and I'm not sure where to begin.. architect? Builder? Costs?
Anyone done anything similar and can help me please?

Would this be achievable

I can’t see the kitchen pictures properly. I am presuming these were originally separate rooms. In that case, I would suggest reinstating the original doorway in the front room. You could keep that room private and it would flow better. There are too many doors in the kitchen. Reinstating the dividing wall should be quite straightforward and not too expensive. Are you planning of taking other walls down? If they are weight bearing would make a big difference to cost.

Thank you for replying, we presume they were separate rooms.
We are wanting to knock down the wall that has the radiator and double doors leading to the dining bit of the house and making a larger kitchen/diner. We could put a door in the hallway to enter the sitting room which would then be less doors in the kitchen? Not sure if this would then be more expensive. We've lived like this for 2 years as not sure what to do!
