Which surface would you say would look the nicest on new interior doors

Eggshell.

Eggshell from me too. It's somewhere in between gloss and matt. Leaves a really nice finish. Just had the wood in my whole flat done in it.

These are some I’ve recently done. Johnstones trade eggshell colour matched to F&B James white.

I would definitely go the extra fir trade formula- just much better quality than your standard.

Eggshell, looks great, has a soft sheen and so much easier to paint than gloss.

Matt will mark horribly and is a pain to wipe down.
