Lodging Confusion

I've moved into a lodging recently on a verbal agreement and said I could commit to about 3-6 months but am not enjoying it too much. Nights are ok but activity begins at 9am. Its not excessively loud but i have super hearing which makes it difficult for me.
I am also not spending as much time as i thought there as I am going back to the parental home daily due to loneliness. I am basically there just lodging 10.30 till 9am and should probably get cheaper lodgings reflective of spending just nights there
Would i be ok to give a months notice and pack it in at around 1m and 20 days or 2m? I feel terrible but can't see myself staying long term. I am going crazy under lockdown and need a holiday urgently to reset
I probably need to suck it up and just rent my own place as i havea job

Give notice if you are unhappy there. If it's a verbal agreement then there's no obligation. They may be ok with you leaving sooner.

You can give as little notice as you want.

Legally i mean there's no notice obligatory but i mean of course on a moral/ethical level i guess 30 days is ok and similar to legal contracts?

That's absolutely fine
