Cost of architect drawing-ground floor extension

We want to turn our conservatory into a proper room, change the shape, extend slightly and add new roof/bifolds etc. How much do you think this should cost to get drawn up? I’ve had one quote for £800 plus VAT is that reasonable? That would give us a selection of ideas and they would also do amends until we are happy apparently.

I think that's reasonable. We paid £1200 plus VAT for architects plans for a porch! On top of that, we had to pay the council fees (planning and building control).

That sounds very reasonable to me, it’s certainly less than the three quotes we had to draw up a single storey extension.

Not sure where you are however that is very low. Is the quote from an architect or something else? Quite a few architectural xyz often aren't explicit that they are not architects. Be careful if so as you will not be covered by ARB if not.

This is what they say they do. So not sure if technically an architect but seems to be detailed enough?! building-tectonics.co.uk/process/

Sounds very reasonable to me, have you just got the one quote or is that the cheapest quote you have had?
