We are hopefully going for a new kitchen photos of our plan is the last one but added photos of the units from internet. Main units would be Matt light grey and island will be Matt graphite

It's a Victorian house but ideally would like flooring to go from hallway to kitchen/ dinner

Trying to go for a cleaner / sleeker look for the kitchen but have 3 kids so needs to be quite hard wearing buy still affordable as it's quite a big space so worried about the cost.

We gave been thinking tiles or wood but I just don't know what will go with the kitchen ?

Any ideas appreciated thanks

What have you allowed for in the budget?
We ended up with bamboo, very tough and basically wood :)

We haven't got a budget yet ! Just working through what it may cost!

I like wood but not sure jf it would go with the kitchen being greys ?

OK. Maybe make a table of costs at different per sqm price? Eg 30sqm area at £25, £30, £35 etc. It's a quick and dirty look up at various price points. Helped me a bit

We've got porcelain wood effect tiles in our kitchen dining living room.
Delighted with them

We are going for wood effect porcelain. They look so real my friend - a furniture maker - thought they were wood

Our kitchen will be stainless steel, so grey.

Wood effect Amtico/Karndean will be bullet proof, easy to clean and suit an old house in looks. A grey kitchen looks nice with oak but there are 100s of options.

We had a kitchen very similar to the first picture - charcoal base units and white walls and went for a light wood look LVT flooring. We used moduleo, which is very similar to Amtico/ Karndean . It looks lovely (if I say so myself!) but I did find it really hard to choose as there is so much choice.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've also started to look at herringbone but OMG the prices !

Any suggestions at good value places to buy flooring from ?
