Current survey wait times?

Selling our property and had an offer nearly 3 weeks ago. We are still waiting for a date for our survey. A friend had his done in within 10 days after offering 2 weeks ago. Estate agent says there is a large delay but just cant understand why it hasn't even been booked in yet.

Depends on the surveyor’s backlog of work, presumably. My survey was booked in for the 23rd March; it actually took place last week. I will have been front of the queue..

It depends on where you fall in the timeline - we were booked for a survey the day Lockdown came into force, it is happening on Monday.

Very early. We accepted an offer 3 weeks ago today. Thought we would of had a date penciled in even if there was a delay!

We had an offer accepted and applied for a mortgage at the end of March - still no valuation survey booked in!
