I had smart meters fitted in feb. No gas was used overnight till about two weeks ago.

The meter display hasn’t moved.

You need @Pigletjohn or @Johnd

if the meter hasn't moved, why do you say you are using gas?

Have you got a hot-water cylinder? Or a gas cooker?

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/06/2020 12:31

The meter display hasn’t moved. It’s portable.

I have a hw tank and ch, neither are on overnight & the stat is programmed to off all day. I did that when the weather started to get warm.

do you mean the meter display hasn't changed?

So what is telling you you used gas?

PhoneLock · 04/06/2020 18:37

If you don't need it for cooking, turn the gas of at the meter and see if it still moves.

PhoneLock · 04/06/2020 18:38

off at the meter

longearedbat · 04/06/2020 18:48

How do you know you are using gas if the meter hasn't moved? I don't understand.

I think the OP means that the meter hasn't physically moved, from one place to another.

Gas leak?

RandomMess · 04/06/2020 19:01
