Worktop join

Has anyone got a quartz or marble worktop with a join & would mind sharing a photo? Do you notice it?

Been told the longest length available is 3.2m, but we need 3.6m.?Worried about paying so much for a worktop then having a naff join. Tia

Or better still...know where to get quartz in a longer length than 3.2!

We have a join where one run of quartz joins another. (Sink side meets oven side of kitchen.) I don’t mind the join but need to replace the sealant where worktop meets the upstand... easy job, just need to get the sealant stuff!

Our fitter put in a join at the sink so that the bit where the tap comes up out of the worktop is a short, easy-to-manage length: I was very glad of this when the tap needed a washed replaced!

Depending on what style sink you want, you might be very glad of having a shorter section one day!

This is the most obvious join in my quartz worktop (around the Belfast sink):

Get your local'Magic Man' to paint/colour it after. They really are magic. I have used them for other things but can't see why they can't help you hide the join.
