Any recommendations for nice villages near Grantham (for commuting to London)? Ideally with a fabulous primary school and a thriving community. Also where can I find info about school leaves destinations? Thanks

Caythorpe is lovely - a long time since mine were at primary, but it was a great school then, with excellent secondary nearby.

It’s about half an hour from Grantham, between Newark and Sleaford.

I have friends that live in Collingham. Just north of Newark. I find it a lovely place, really friendly. A mix of families and older. Not sure what the schools are like, but there’s some great walks.

To find out about school leavers trips, just look at the schools website, more often than not there’s something on there about where they go.

Thanks both, unfortunately Newark is a bit too far so I guess we need to be directly east or west of Grantham or slightly south. Ideally a cycle to the station. Apologies I meant leavers destinations (i.e which secondary schools they go to)

It's quite a London thing for primary schools to publish that kind of info. 11+ in Lincs is nowhere near as competitive as London.
