www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-73481110.html

On at offers over £1.1m, looks like it was added to rightmove in August last year.

Do you think they would take offers, or is that why its stayed on the market?

It says additional land available by negotiation (from what I can tell, garden is small), so perhaps if we offered full asking price, we could get the land thrown in.....?

I’m a bit confused- are there two houses for 1.1 mill or 1.1 mill each?

Have you actually viewed them? I would
Be wondering why there were no pics of the bedrooms or garden or drive...I agree I suspect they’re not 1.1 mill houses, prob more 800-900. Having said that, I don’t know the area, so maybe this is the norm?

wholelottahistory · 30/05/2020 22:50

I hadn't though of that, I'm pretty sure its just the price for 1. I'm not sure whether they are fully built yet, am speaking to agent on Monday.

I also wonder why there are no pics of the living room. The study/snug looks a bit shit too, without any windows and no door. Slightly odd, but I do want to investigate more.

Why is there no picture of the house but a picture of the kitchen from every possible angle?

FadedRed · 30/05/2020 22:56

Are these actual photographs of a real building? They look to me like computer simulations and ‘stock images’ (bathroom features).

Eeyoresstickhouse · 30/05/2020 22:57

It looks like just the 1 house to me.

The pictures are awful though, no pictures of the bedrooms, no flow of the pictures either. I dont know the area for pricing but if I was spending over a million pounds on a house I would want to know what all rooms looked like before I bothered to view it.

Also no pictures of the garden (unless I missed them) is just odd.

Bluntness100 · 30/05/2020 23:00

I’d assume no pics and artists impression because they aren’t built yet.

They will have been on the market since last year because they were planning to build, them build etc.

It’s clearly not a case they were built last year and no one has offered.

Clymene · 30/05/2020 23:05

It's not actually built.

Clymene · 30/05/2020 23:07

And it's two houses - each one will be 1.1m.

This is the street view

Has the other house sold? Why don't you view it. It's surprising that they haven't updated the listing photos if it is now finished - have you done a drive by?
Regardless, anyone is open to offers.

Clymene · 30/05/2020 23:17

No, the other one hasn't sold because they haven't been built

SD1978 · 30/05/2020 23:37

By all means go and see it, but I'd prepare to be disappointed. Photos of a bathroom and kitchen only. Looking directly into neighbours windows as the houses face each other, and shared drive- you'd hope you got on and they weren't noisy. At that price, I wouldn't want a shared drive and a small garden, I'd rather keep looking

SD1978 · 30/05/2020 23:38

Just saw the not built part. Oops. Still wouldn't want a shared drive at that relive though!

intheningnangnong · 31/05/2020 11:05

Yes off plan, but kitchen/bathrooms designed so lots of simulations.

It’s possibly a garden sell off so how close is the main house?
