My new (to me) house has a tiny pond in the garden. No plants, no fish, and seems to be lined with concrete, and painted. There is a removal fountain in it too.
I was thinking of emptying it, drilling holes so it can drain in future, partially filling it with gravel, or rocks, and having a fire pit in the middle. I have no experience of ponds, or fire pits, so I've no idea if it would work, and what things I need to consider.
Has anyone done anything similar? Or if you just have some advice, I'd be grateful.
