Which you'd prefer for a small family - Kensal Rise, Tufnell Park or Crouch End?

Hi,

This is following on from another thread. If you had to pick out of these three - Kensal Rise, Tufnell Park or Crouch End - for a family move: single parent with one DS which would you go for? Ideally aiming for a two-bed flat with good schools, nice liberal vibe with a community feel. Only recently moved to London and trying to suss out places before dragging a six year old to check them out :-) Any advice would be really appreciated?

Kensal Rise is great for Portobello and Queens Park, lots and lots of young families. I think it depends what kind of liberal vibe you are after? I think my choice would be Kensal Rise, Crouch End and then Tufnell Park....
