Design advice needed - plans included! Stud wall or crittal doors?

Hi loves,

I'm going to be converting my existing living space into an open plan kitchen and front room.

I'm unsure whether to go with a stud wall or industrial glass doors to break up the space.

The room as it currently stands is really bright and airy, so a stud wall could affect that... on the other hand, the industrial glass doors could ruin the exclusivity of the open plan space I have in mind.

My other thought is whether to scrap the open plan kitchen entirely and instead have a front room, separate dining room area and large kitchen with an island... help!

Example of front room idea: www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/photos/54981242?search_identifier=ec0dfa759a1b20ada8056b433d449fd8 - I also have a big beautiful bay window

Example of how crittal style industrial doors would look:

Why not go for folding or pocket doors without glass? If you want it to be one big entertaining room keep them open, and closing them will make it really feel like a separate room. (disclaimer: we had the same dilemma and went for folding doors Grin)

Oh fab - thank you! Just had a look and I love the idea of pocket doors with glass.

Crittal doors look amazing, but my god, the cost Shock

I do love crittal doors but we are looking at internal French doors so the light aspect is still there...
