Taking a wall down

I want to take the wall down between the kitchen and dining room
It's solid (breeze block or brick I don't know) so I've no idea if it's a supporting wall!
Is it possible for us to do it ourselves?
Just to make it more complicated it also has a radiator one side and electrics in the wall!
What information do we need? How much are we looking if we can't do it!
I'm assuming it will need a beam putting in!

You will need a structural engineer. If it is supporting you will need building regs and calculations on the steel needed. If it is supporting do not do it by yourselves.

If you don't know if it is a supporting wall I don't think you are experienced enough to take it down, and you shouldn't be working with electrics unless you are a qualified electrician
