How to remove stains from sofa bench?

I have this sofa bench- www.made.com/flynn-dining-bench-midnight-black

There is a pink mark on it ( might be blusher when i accidentally fell asleep on it). I have tried upholstery cleaner but it doesn't work. It now has a pink throw over it, but I would like to get rid of it. Any tips, thanks.

Pink on a dark coloured sofa? It could be that something has come into contact with it that has bleached it.

@wowfudge its kinda chalk like?

Hmm - I can't tell what the fabric is, put if it has a pile, like velvet, what appears to be a chalky mark could be bleached fibres. Can you post a photo of the damaged area of your sofa?

Sorry OP, but that looks like a bleach mark. Maybe from someone's hand or a cloth put down on the sofa? Do you use any cleaning sprays that contain bleach at all?

@wowfudge i think probably the upholstery spray had some :(

so i guess the only solution is to cover it up?

I'd be surprised if there was bleach in an upholstery cleaner tbh. More like it has transferred from somewhere without you realising. However, it might not be a bleach mark - difficult to be 100% from a photo. You could try cold water and original Stardrops using a white, lint free cloth and working into the middle of the mark, trying not to get it too wet - you want damp. See if that makes it any better. If not and it is a bleach mark you could try using a grey Sharpie to colour in the lightest bits and minimise it. Try a tiny bit first and see if it looks any better.
