I am due to exchange and complete on Friday. I have got buildings and content insurance and sent the schedule to my solicitor and now she has got back and said that it does not state the lender is 'an interested party'. I have called the insurance company up to have this amended and they have said they cannot do this as we have not exchanged as of yet and that I need to go to an insurance company that are happy to have the property on risk before exchange.
Can anyone help. I am really confused - has anyone got B&C and exchanged and completed on the same day, what insurance company did you go with.
