Help, what is this light fitting?

Does anyone recognise this? The build needs changing and we can't get the cover off to see what kind of bulb, or indeed to do it!

Thank you!

Not familiar to anyone?

It could be one of these:
uk.rs-online.com/web/p/non-integrated-compact-fluorescent-lamps/7926849?cm_mmc=UK-PLA-DS3A--google--CSS_UK_EN_Lighting_Whoop--Non-Integrated+Compact+Fluorescent+Lamps_Whoop--PRODUCT_GROUP&matchtype=&pla-340833070208&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIl4eW_YnC6QIVWe3tCh0MwwTjEAQYASABEgIizvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

But I would get the lid off the light to see properly - you will have to get the top off it at some stage to replace the bulb.

Why have you got too lights next to each other?

TwoBlueFish · 20/05/2020 10:06

It may be a sealed unit and you have to replace the whole thing rather than just the bulb.

picklemewalnuts · 20/05/2020 11:05

Thank you both! The new system was put in and the old one wasn't removed. Can't remember why, on both issues.

We can't work out how to open it, which is why I'm asking!

It's only been in a year.

I was hoping that if I could identify the brand of the light, I could find something about it online and work out how to change the bulb.

I did the "search google for image" thing.

I've found out where you are going wrong: according to Google that's a bidet.Grin

sbplanet · 20/05/2020 11:56

Lol @senua! It doesn't look particularly well attached to the wall (last photo). Make sure you've turned off the power to it before buggering around? Is it an emergency light - try googling "emergency light round" there's lots of partway similar pictures come up.

DarkPassenger · 20/05/2020 11:57

On your photo that I've copied you can see that it is hanging from one or two screws. It probably has a little notch like I've circled on the 2nd pic so you should be able to maneuver it off with a bit of wiggling.

Then you can see if bulb access is via unscrewing the back. If not then I imagine the main outer ring I have arrowed unscrews anti-clockwise to release the main cover and the bulb will be under there.

Thank you! We'll see how we get on.
