Hello, we're thinking of undoing the kitchen but don't have money for a new kitchen.

Do you know how much it would be (roughly) to get new work tops fitted and a new sink put in?

Depends is budget you go and where you buy from.
There are a lot of online company's competitively priced.
You can also find bargains in show rooms. Essentially you need to shop around.
You can probably buy for £300 if sticking to known shops or for example pick up a length of worktop on eBay locally for example.
Have you looked at screwfix? They are joined with b&q so similar products and a range of budgets.
Or maybe Ikea?

Stone ones are always expensive because they need templating. Cutting sink space is always a cost plus hob space. I probably wouldn’t go to this expense for old units. Higher quality laminate or wood could work.

We paid £1800 for our Minerva worktops, £140 for the Belfast sink. I wouldn’t spend that kind of money if I was just freshening up an old kitchen though.
