Cheapest place for quartz worktops?

Hi all,

Can you please let me know where you found quartz worktops the cheapest? Seems to be the Classic Quartz Stone brand coming out the most affordable but don't know much about it. I have had wildly varying quotes for the same layout:

GMQ (Classic Quartz) - £2400
Reigate Marble Shop (Classic Quartz) - £3412
Diapol - £3555
Rock & Co (Urban Quartz) £3590
Croydon Granite (Glowstone) - £3900
Mayfair Granite - £4330

Also if anyone can reco the most real looking marble effect quartz? They all just look a bit flat to me and calacutta is SO much more than carrara.

We used a small local firm based in a shop rather than either a kitchen company or a huge warehouse type place

Different quartz brands / products will vary enormously. It would help if you had a particular one in mind... This is the one we're going for www.solidsurfacekitchens.co.uk/mirostone-cosmic-gold-quartz-solid-surface-worktops-20mm-wsu-22907-p.asp but using a local supplier. It's a tad more expensive but less hassle should anything go wrong and the builder has a trade account with them

Yes, very pleased with it. I can’t remember the brand but here’s a picture ..
we had such good service from them - when it came to fitting there was a minute gap on one side of the hob .. but they replaced it with no complaints at all. I was very glad that they’d done the measurements!

Looks gorgeous. Thanks for pic. I would like a similar worktop but hubby has other ideas. So you think it’s definitely the link you sent was definitely the place you went to? It’s not too far from me.
