What are they like?
We don't know Suffolk at all, but after lock down we've realised we'd like to move out a bit...

I know the Northern area my parents have lived my entire life in various villages. Villages have strong individual identities and a good community. My parents have had village flour deliveries etc during lock down.
More North you get gentle hills and woodland more south flatter and more open. The closer you get to Bury St Edmunds you get the prettier the villages, but the more expensive the houses.
Some of it depends where you are moving from, compared to the South East facilities are sparser and it is not unheard of for a power cut to last days. A couple of years ago a substation blew and my parents were out for two weeks.
But there is space everyone looks out for everyone else.
