We (husband plus two kids, 3 and 9 months) are considering a move from South London to Reigate/Oxted area. We are keen to have some more space and be close to the countryside. We also want to be within an easy drive to Gatwick and have Heathrow as an option too.
We have a budget of about 1 million and would hope to get a decent 4/5 bed house with a nice garden in a village near Oxted or Reigate or on the outskirts of Reigate/Oxted.
Can anyone recommend some nice villages or areas for me please? Ideally, we would want to be within the catchment area for a decent state primary school and within a mile or so of a train station with trains going to central London.
Any suggestions/tips much appreciated.
