Kitchen makeover - replacement doors.

Has anyone used one of the kitchen makeover companies who spruce up your kitchen by replacing the cabinet doors and worktops? What where your experiences? What kind of ballpark figure was it for how many units? I can't afford a new kitchen but wondering if this will also be out of budget? I don't fancy getting someone out to quote if I'm just going to be disappointed with way out costs. The cabinets are in good condition, just cheap and nasty doors. (This project will obviously be when lockdown lifts a bit 😊)

Hey op. We spent about £200 on our kitchen and for that we got new lino, painted the kitchen cupboard doors, put new handles on, put fablon on the kitchen worktops and painted the tiles. We won't be able to afford anew kitchen for a good few years and it's changed the area so much from the outdated and grubby kitchen we moved into!

Thanks Lemonysherbert, that sounds fab! You certainly got loads for the money! 😀 I'm definitely getting new tiles, laminate worktop, sink and taps, new handles as the minimum. I was wondering if I could squeeze the budget to get the replacement fronts to the cabinets. I have a budget of a couple of thousand for that (getting someone in for fitting it), but could go up to 3000 for this project. I was hoping that someone had done something similar?

...I would only need 6 doors, 2 draw fronts and the trim...
