How do l get rid of the excess paint here?

Previous owners appeared to have a slapdash attempt to paint application. How do we remove the excess paint on the tile edge -please see picture

I’d start by running a Stanley knife or similar along the line where the tiles meet the wall. This is to prevent any paint peeling off the tile, then continuing to peel off the wall.

As it looks quite chunky, you should be able to flake it off quite easily by pressing firmly but gently with a blunt knife. If it’s emulsion, you could remove by rubbing with a damp rough cloth.

Hot water and a sponge scourer

You’ll need to scrape it off.

is it gloss paint or emulsion?
