Loft Hatch Price?

We have a tiny loft hatch in our box bedroom but want to move it to the landing instead to make it more accessible.

If you've paid to have this done, how much did it cost you?

I've been quoted £330 (with an aluminium ladder) in South Wales and wondered how this compares.

Sounds good to me if that all done and made good!

Hmm I personally think it's a maybe a little high but it depends on how your joists run and whether the new hatch can be fitted between them or if the person doing the job needs to cut into them.

The DIY kits are approx £100 from screwfix so for an easy job I would expect maybe £100-150 in labour..

Are you wanting them to make good the old hatch? If so I'd maybe factor another £50 which would put it roughly in the area of your quote
