Herringbone floor advice

Can anyone recommend a supplier for wood/engineered wood herringbone flooring? We've had that many samples but can't find a decent one. Obviously we can't go to showrooms and it's holding the job up, we're fitting it ourselves so no need to get anyone in. Thank you for any advice.

I'll be checking this... We're opting for bamboo flooring but always like to check out a good supplier!

Look at what brands John Lewis offer. They would chose quality manufacturers.

Thanks mosaic I'll have a look. It's so hard when all you get is a tiny sample but we need to get on.

You can ask for more. Polyflor sent me 4 pieces of a variegated type flooring. It helped me choose. I called customer services and explained I didn't know which one to choose and it such a big area 1200 sq......

Square feet, not metres.

B&q are open and my nearest one has a section with all types of wooden flooring including a few herringbone types.

Having said that I have yet to actually enter the store as the queue is insane

We used kahrs varberg herringbone matt parquet from flooringsupplies.co.uk. It is engineered rather than solid but we have been very pleased with it.

mosaic we only tried one company for more and they weren't helpful, which was useful as I googled their reviews and steered clear! Looking at polyflor now thank you.

weepingwillow that is gorgeous, I'm looking at that now, thank you!

remmy we haven't had any from them yet, will take a look now, thank you.

Oliversmumsarmy I can imagine the queues! We don't have one nearby (probably luckily!) but I'll look online.

Also, when you find something you like, put the brand and colours into Google Images and you might find a few random photos of it in rooms. I did!
