Awkward kitchen shape

We have a slightly awkward shaped kitchen - 19 ft by 11 ft with engraved at either end. It's too narrow for an island. At present we have units down each side, but have this wide expanse in the middle. We're looking at remodelling - was thinking of deeper units so that we could shut things away (like the larder fiords you see) and possibly trying to create a breakfast bar on one of the units. Has anyone done anything similar ?

My kitchen is 10’2 x 20, but staggered slightly after 13’ (was extension the larger end is the kitchen with units round the outside, then table, chairs and sideboard the other. It would work though with a breakfast bar, and I did once covert a kitchen in a magazine that had done just that (think I’ve long since thrown it away sorry).

Floor plan def required.

My friends have a long narrow kitchen and in the middle the hob sticks out so you can look out the doors at the end rather than it being a straight run.

Do you have a separate utility?
