Hello,

Does anyone recognise this wallpaper?. I used it in the guest room over 30 years ago and still love it. The room needs redecorating and I would like to use it again. I know it is not fashionable now but 🤷‍♀️. Unfortunately, it does need renewing.

Your help would be much appreciated

I don't recognise it, but it looks like a Sanderson or Laura Ashley design.

Witchlight · 02/05/2020 14:52

Thanks, it’s not Laura Ashley as I was a bit against it then, as everyone seemed to use it in bedrooms.

I’ve looked at Cole & Son, Colefax & Fowler and Sanderson. It is not there.

Other options are to try and decorate around the wallpaper and keep the faded look. The ceiling and woodwork do need doing.

It doesn't look like Sanderson, op have you had a look at eBay? You can buy rolls of vintage papers on there, and you might find your one on there and at least get the name even if you can't buy enough rolls.

Have you put your picture into an image search on google?

wowfudge · 03/05/2020 12:31

To be fair, if it's been up for that long then once you've painted the ceiling and woodwork it'll probably look tired. Might be worth re-papering or painting over it.

Thanks, I know it was a long shot.

I will probably use it as an excuse not to redecorate the room, knowing me. There are always so many other areas in the house that need doing!

I have put the image into an image search, with no results. I might try emailing a few of the wallpaper companies.
