Updating shower head

Our old bathroom has an electric shower, but it is pretty naff. We have no issues at all with water pressure. We recently had a loft extension and have a thermostatic shower without additional pump and it’s extremely powerful.
Does changing the shower head make a difference to the water output of an electric shower? If so, give me your recommendations please.

Electric showers are intrinsically weak and disappointing, especially in winter when the incoming supply is colder.

Like having a cat pee on you.

If you increase the water flow, the water will be colder.
