Keep house on the market or start again when this is over?

We put our house in the market end of Feb, had about 3 viewings before everything shut down. We haven't found another property we want to buy yet and obviously not going to find anything now. Question is do we keep the house on the market, so people can see it online, & the For Sale sign's still up outside, or just give up for now and start again next year? What are people doing?

Why have you only had three viewings? Is the market in your area static? Is it priced too high? Are you overlooking a Trainline? What have you agents said is the reason for the lack of viewings?

I'd keep it online. I'm looking to move next year and I'm always checking out what's out there. I think people will understand that the market is stalled at the moment and will recognise that as you put it on so close to the lock down that is the reason for it not selling, not the property itself.

Hmm good point, Pipandmum.
TDL viewings not an issue, it was maybe 5, which is all we could fit in in a couple of weeks, not an indication of anything wrong on that score. Just wondering whether to let it remain on the market, when that could mean it's on for 6months or longer because of the current situation

This seems to back up what you said, Pipandmum www.google.com/amp/s/www.onthemarket.com/content/coronavirus-should-you-take-your-property-off-the-market/amp/

Our EA advised us not to go on market now but if we were already on we would be staying on. Would be staggered if it sells but there's zero chance if you take it off and at least people can see virtually.
