Help with mail redirection

Hello,
I don’t know if this is the right section, hopefully, someone will be able to help.
We moved to a new house a few weeks ago (still own our old flat while sale goes through) and finally got round to having the mail redirected.
To my surprise, my address does not show on the royal mail website.
Say I lived on First floor flat, 2 Broadway.
The website only shows 2 Broadway.
My husband wants to go ahead since he says in the application we will enter our names and they will only redirect our mail.
I worry they’ll just look at the address and send us our downstairs neighbour’s mail too.
We want to avoid going to the post office in person and the phone line keeps cutting us off after 45 seconds.
I was wondering if anyone has experienced this.
Thanks!

There is a 'my address is not shown' on a pull down tab which then allows you to manually enter any address

It does ask you to enter the names of anyone whose mail you want redirecting too. And to tick a box if not everyone in the house is moving. So I think you will be fine to go ahead.

@Whateveryouwant1

Thanks, saw that, but a couple of steps later, you have to select again just by entering the postcode, which is when mine doesn’t appear.

@CumbrianExile

It seems they really check the name then, when selecting what mail to redirect.

They were really helpful on the phone. Just might take a while to get through currently

@user1484 yes. I even had to enter the kids names to ensure if anyone sent anything addressed to them it would be redirected.
