Hi all.
Wanting to open this thread, as I don't know if the old ones are reliable any longer.
My family and I (husband + 19 months old son) want to move to Newbury, but haven't decided about which part yet.
It's a must for us to:
- be near a primary which has a long good reputation.
- be within a 20-30 min walk from the city center.
- have easy access to the M4 and railway station as we will have to commute for work. We just want to shorten the time spent commuting.
- have a park / playground / riverside / leisure center - basically one thing where to go with our son outside of the house - in walking distance 10 min.
We're particularly looking for a safe place, friendly neighborhood, nice community and to be a catchment area for good schools. Could you give us some helping suggestions?
