Please help! Dishwasher

Hi, anyone know anything about dishwashers? We can’t have a repair man in the house due to vulnerable child. The dishwasher wouldn’t finish the cycle and drain the waste water. So we got a new one delivered today. Same thing is happening . So it’s clearly something to do with the plumbing. Any ideas? I can’t keep on top of the washing up for the next few months, feeling quite desperate!

The waste pipe - the fixed grey pipe coming out of the back of a dishwasher - needs to go high up before it drops down to where it goes into the sink waste or pipework which goes out to the drain. Is that pipe correctly set up? If you look in the installation instructions for the new machine there should be details and hopefully a diagram.

photograph the waste hose, where it connects to (probably) the waste pipe for the sink. show as much of the waste pipe route as you can. likely it has got blocked.
