Randomly - I want to paint a track on my lawn

Not sure if this should be in DIY or gardens but here goes.

I have quite a big garden. Dh is in the middle of building decking and most of it is grass, but a bit lumpy due to building work we had done fir an extension.
So now we are confined to home I thought of painting a track on the grass for the kids to use for races! What should I use? Aerosol can?

You can buy aerosol cans of paint that landscape gardeners, builders etc use to mark out boundaries etc. on the ground.

They might be available somewhere like B&Q or a builders merchants

Don't use an aerosol - order some of the special white paint stuff that cricket clubs use.

Ooh baffledbat does that paint have a special name?
