Nice places to live south of Birmingham for young families

Hi,
I am looking for a pretty place to live in South of Birmingham, with schools rated outstanding and a good community/cultural vibe, with easy commute into Birmingham. I read good things about Bournville (apart from the fact that there are a lot of restrictions due to it being a trust). Any other recommendations?
Thank you

Kings Heath and Moseley, as PP mentioned. Kings Heath has a nice vibe and is a bit less expensive than Moseley. I have friends who live in the area and they love it.

Not Bromsgrove - it's dull and not very pleasant.
There are lovely villages around Worcester though be careful to check the flooding situation out to the north east of the city.

Chaddesley Corbett and Cutnall Green are good, Cutnall Green is especially recommended if you like traditional tea rooms (though the owner is anything but traditional! He's a lovely man)
