We're getting a new kitchen fitted, and my head is wrecked trying to chose a range. We don't want gas (for various reasons), and looking at them we can afford either an induction hob or a self cleaning one, but not both features 
Does anyone have views on which of these features Is likely to improve my life the most? For the record, I'm a fairly keen cook and also a bit of a slattern 
but I can't work out whether that means a self cleaning oven is the dream, or wasted on me!
