Urgh!!!

My house has now been for sale coming up to a year! Driving me insane. How can I get it to sell quick! Missed out on a property I was wanting to buy they waited 11 months for me to sell. And they called me and finally said they are going to accept someone else's offer even though it is lower then what I offered them😭😭.

I feel like making a leaflet with my house on it and posting it through people's door! I'm so desperate and can't afford to change agents as I have already paid upfront. Stupid I know! EVERYONE PRAY GIVE ME A MIRACLE THAT I NEED!

Relocating / moving out of London to lovely Yorkshire to become mortgage free! ahh

Have you lowered the price at all in the year that is has been on? 99.9% of the time houses are over priced by estate agents, it will be even more difficult now that corona virus is here and alot of people are likely to become unemployed due to the upcoming recession

is there an issue with location? Very noisy / polluted area? If so you just have to lower the price. If it's something inside the house putting people off, could you afford chaging that yourself?

Surely there must be some kind of release clause? I know you say you’ve paid up front, but if your house hasn’t sold in a year I’m sure there’d be a way to get your money back!

I would advise taking it off the market for now and re-listing in 3-4 months once all the Coronavirus stuff has hopefully settled a bit. Most people won’t want to buy now as they don’t know whether they’ll still be in a job soon.

Op if it's not price, which you need to check, then it must be a reason with the house or garden. Can you sort that reason out? as 1 year to sell is very long and I've seen so many unattractive houses sell.

So what about your house is putting off buyers? You need to get to the root of the reason/problem and sort it out.
