Split face tiles recommendations

Good morning!
Looking to change the look of our kitchen a bit with some new tiles. Really like the look of split face tiles as think this might be quite a classic look... wondering if anyone has any experience of using these in a kitchen? Prices seem to vary hugely... any recommend suppliers? And anyone with expertise on the various treatments you can use to protect them?
Thanks so much!

If they are what I think they are I'd use them on a feature wall somewhere, but not as a kitchen splashback - the practical person in me just thinks they're a dust and grease trap.

Off to google

Had a google. Sorry, I can’t answer your questions personally. I had my kitchen redone two years ago, I did see topps tiles had these in a few variations.

Personally, while looking at tile styles when redoing our kitchen, I recall having thinking with these tiles how difficult it would be to keep clean especially behind the hob and sink area.

Thank you @wowfudge and @AdoreTheBeach
Yes agree, plan to leave original metal splash back in place, so hopefully that would save the problem of cleaning.
Think the treatments you can put on them help too, must do more research.
Thanks for posting

Yup.. dirt and grease trap, more difficult to clean than regular tiles. I wouldn't have said they are classic.
