Handmade Kitchens Direct kitchen - brushed or sprayed finish?

Agghh - MORE decisions to make! We've ordered shaker units from Handmade Kitchens Direct and are about to get them painted (when we finally decide on a colour). The decorator is recommending a brushed finish but I'm wondering about spray painting them for a smoother look. Any thoughts/advice from anyone who has done either? What would you recommend? Thanks so much

If you’re having a wooden kitchen then I think painted. Sprayed can look too perfect and takes away the grain of the wood showing through. Defeats the object of paying extra for wooden cabinetry in my opinion.
