Us/neighbour front garden wall design

We’re having our front garden wall re done and think our neighbours will have theirs done at the same time. We are a terrace and they are end of terrace. Any ideas on how we can have our walls done in complimentary styles but not exactly the same to avoid looking like just one big house?

I remember seeing on kirsti and Phil that they advised the whole row of terraced houses to be painted in complimentary colours so the houses looked good but not identical. This is the kind of thing I’m talking about with our front wall!

Different pattern when they lay the bricks, Garden wall bond etc

You could very in the laying bond or the coping stones at the top. Personally I’d go this route rather than vary the bricks themselves which could look hotch potch. You could also add a small cast iron rail to the top of one wall or introduce a creased tile coping stone solution.

Love this idea. Wish you were our neighbours where we lived before.
