Hello just been quoted £285 to have two new 6x6 fence panels and three wooden fence posts to replace old rotten ones. Can I have opinions as no idea on how much this work should cost.

Panels are £18 each
Posts around £10
If wood - post base £10 each or postcrete - @ £5 per bag - 1 bag does 2 x posts
If concrete post + base they are £10/12 each needing 2 + postcrete

Then labour + removal of old stuff

Two lads £100 a day each plus materials doesn't look too bad to me.
Its hard graft, very heavy if they are concrete posts too

This is weird because I got exactly this done recently, two panels blew down in one of the storms. £280
I did not get other quotes so maybe we are both being over priced, but they are definitely in the same league!

Quite a lot of money IMHO, if wooden, unless you've got top of the range panels, concrete posts and boards. It's quite easy to do your own fencing (see You Tube for videos, but needs 2 people, a large spirit level, one of these: www.toolstation.com/draper-post-hole-digger/p16835, and a longish piece of baler twine and two pegs to ensure you put them in a straight line.)
DH and I replaced 3 posts with concrete posts and 2x6ft panels from scratch in about 3 hours yesterday. We had tea/coffee breaks in there too, so not a lengthy process. Panels were reduced to about £35 (they're quite fancy ones) in local garden centre as they're stopping doing fencing.

Fencing is so variable in quality and price. That's an OK price, I think, if you are having good quality pressure treated panels that you can expect to last many years. If you're getting DIY store basics untreated panels, then no.
