Internal door woes

We need 5 new internal doors and the ones me and DH both agree on are four panel (not shaker style). We want to buy them primed and smooth (not wood grain) but not those super light ones and not more than £60 per door. I've looked at Howdens, Selco, B&Q, Homebase, Wickes. Can anyone suggest any other places to try? Thank you!

This kind of thing?

If you want solid core, I don't think £60 is enough

however

If you get a local carpenter to fit and hang them (which I recommend), s/he will know local suppliers in your town, and may know a low cost source.

how many floors does your home have, including habitable basements and loft conversions?

Fire doors (which are very solid, and heavy) are sold widely and you may get a discount. However they are 44mm thick and you may need a new door lining (frame). Example Due to the weight they are I think unsuitable for DIY fitting.

If you look at the packaging and fitting instructions, you may find that doors sold by the big sheds are actually made by one of the large door making companies.

@JumpingOnTheBed what doors did you go for in the end? We're in a similar situation at the moment and also need 5 internal doors, we're looking for 4 panel too but I think we're going to go for the wood grain ones. We have a similar budget and currently leaning towards Wickes but was wondering if you found any better ones?
