Sold prices

I’m trying to find out the sold prices for 2 properties that definitely sold...the first was sold in 2015 and the second was sold spring 2019.

I can find the previous sales on both properties, but nothing for these recent purchases. I’ve even tried the land registry and only the old sold prices show up.

Any ideas how to confirm this information? I thought it was all publicly accessible nowadays. Thanks

Can you find the properties on the Land Registry website? If you pay the £3 to download the title register, the purchase price should be on the first page.

There are some sales which don’t show up I think. Like if they were sold to a business or auction.

My house has never come up on sold price registers. I don’t know why.

You can usually google ‘sold prices ....... road’ and a Rightmove link comes up with all of the previous sold prices. Alternatively if there are any other houses for sale on the same street there should be a ‘nearby sold prices’ link on the listing.

Have you tried ourproperty.co.uk ?

Zoopla is often quite good for this if you look in the sold prices section and put the address in

https://nethouseprices.com

Sometimes the addresses are all wrong. Next door but one to us was last sold within a week of ours and has the right number but the wrong street on the sold price listings.

For prices paid data for England and Wales, I use houseprices.io/

ThePittts · 27/02/2020 10:18

Rightmove has a section where you can search sold prices

You can find out for free on the LR website. I do it regularly.
