Kitchens - System Six Quantum

Hi, I'm afraid I'm probably going to be doing lots of these threads! Has anyone had a kitchen from System Six kitchens in Exeter? Are you pleased with it? Anything I should be aware of? There's loads on the internet about the big chain kitchens but I'm struggling to find anything about smaller independent kitchen makers. Thank you

Hi @Mum0ntherun , the quality seemed good and I did have a design consultation with them but in the end did not proceed. The style that I wanted (Shaldon) was too expensive. TBH, I wasn't happy with the design either. The designer noted all my wishes and requirements but the design reflected very little of what we discussed. He had an "I'm the designer, I know better" attitude. He did offer to amend it, but we chose not to explore any further. Your experience might be different with a different designer though.

Hey MumOntherun, did you go with them in the end? How did it turn out? I visited back in early September but they don’t seem to want my business. Who did you all use in the end?

I did and the kitchen is great and I’m really pleased with it. However I’m still waiting for them to finish off the snagging list which is frustrating. I wish I’d kept some of the money back until it was done as we’re having to chase. I think they are understaffed.

I did use their fitters and their counter top recommendation, they were great. Also I did listen to the designer and change a couple of the things I’d planned which were for the better. Re price, well I got it trade so I was very happy but the standard price seemed good for the quality. I looked at all the other usual places and I much preferred the quality here.
