What details should we have?

What details should we get from our estate agents before accepting viewings on our property? Ie name, address, mortgage in place, have they received an offer on their property? Etc

We're in the process of buying.
The estate agents have always asked for our names, what our situation is (we're first time buyers), and our address and contact details - although I wouldn't expect my address to be passed to the vendor at the viewing stage, why would you need it? I haven't been asked about having a mortgage in principle, although we do.

Ours didn’t give any details before viewings. They will know those things but won’t pass them on to you due to data protection. You can ask if they’re FTB with an AIP or whatever but that’s about it. Not accepting people who haven’t sold yet tends to be offputting. If you get an offer the EA will tell you their name and position but again, no real details until you sell.
