Bathroom Wall Panels

Fed up of grouting and mould and was thinking about getting these....however the shower is over the bath (with a window with a roller blind next to it also)....is this set up not suitable for panels? All the examples I have seen are shower cubicles with floor to ceiling panel.

Something like this?

Also, would not fancy fitting them myself - is it tricky to find someone to do this?

When we got our bathroom done a few years ago we got wet wall put in instead of tiles and grouting. Our shower is also over the bath and the panels cover the wall from ceiling to bath like the tiles would have.

I love them, very easy to keep clean and no filthy grout to deal with.

Good to hear, who fitted it - was it done through the bathroom company that you bought it from?

It was the plumber, he sourced all materials, bathroom suite etc and did it all. The whole bathroom was done, ripped out right back to the brickwork and started from scratch.

We’ve got panels - floor to ceiling in the shower then around the bath and above the sink. We sourced them and plumber fitted them. They look great and are so easy to keep clean. We’ve got a dark grey slate effect which looks quite modern against white walls.

We first had panels in a shower room about 15 years ago - they are still brilliant.
When we re-did our main bathroom 3 years ago, we had them in there too - including over the bath (the narrow end of which is under the window.
Would never go back to tiles.
The people that fitted the bathroom did it. One was a plumber, the other more of a general builder / handyman. I didn't watch who specifically did it, but I'd say most plumbers, tilers or builders or just handymen would.

In our last property, we had these panels. Like you we also had the shower above the bath and a window beside the bath. We managed it and it worked well. My amazing father in law installed it for us so only cost us the materials. So easy to keep clean.

Going against the grain.... we had them but the installation was shit so they leaked. Far more tricky and way more expensive to sort out that a few tiles. So we had our en-suite done AGAIN and this time went for tiles.
I agree the panels look amazing, just make sure they’re fitted perfectly.
