New roof for average semi - anyone had one recently? What did it cost?

Thinking we may need to bite the bullet on this. No extensions to roof, straightforward two sides of a triangle. What kind of figures do I need to prepare to hear?

Thanks

Hipped roof with extension, 8000 with two new velux windows. NW England.
Triangles are probably cheaper ;-)

Urgh, more than I was hoping.

I paid 5k on a three bedroom 1930s semi on the Essex/London border about 5 years ago.

Hello I've just had a quote for 6200 in Lancashire, this is to remove current roof, replace, cap off chimney and replace guttering. Hope this helps.

Nottinghamshire quoted between 3.5 and 4K for 3 bed semi roof

Thanks all. Might move the house to Nottinghamshire.
