Is the Easter weekend a good or bad time to list our house?

We are prepping our house for sale (no onward chain) and wondering if it is a good or bad time over Easter to put it on the market?

Are people too busy going away, having family time or doing other activities to spend their bank holiday weekend going around looking at a house to buy?

I haven’t chosen an estate agent yet - although I’m happy to show prospective purchasers around if necessary - but I suspect they don’t particularly want to spend their Easter weekend arranging viewings?

Thoughts please!

We had exactly the same thoughts last year and then put the house on the market the weekend after the Easter holidays.

On the flip side it may be convenient for people to having viewings on easter weekend due to most people being off work for an extended period.

I don't think it really matters that much tbh. Yes avoid just before Christmas but if someone is going to view your house, Easter isn't a big deal. And like PP said, you might get people viewing as they are off work.
