Hello all, I wonder if you could share how much these bits of work would cost if you have had something similar done. I know it’s a bit ‘how long is a piece of string!!
I’d need heating pipes installed into a lower ground floor - you can go straight through the kitchen floor into the room to install 2 small radiators.
How much to open up a chimney and install a log burner (it’s an older property so should have the set up.
The next one I have actually taken a builder to ask if it’s doable and he has reassured me it is - cut a hole in the floor and fit a new staircase to connect two levels. He has estimated about 5k - does this sound right?
