DFS Sofa Foam Padding

Hi,

We've seen a sofa we like in DFS but online they have an option to add contour comfort. Has anyone got this? If so, what is the difference between that and the standard foam filling?

Thanks

Hi OP. I bought one of their sofas almost a year ago. I would recommend getting the firmer filling. With the softer ones, you're going to be needing to fluff them up more often, but the firmer ones will keep their shape a lot better.
The softer ones sound lovely on the website; all talk of sinking into soft cushions, but in reality, we just thought the constant plumping of cushions would be frustrating.

DH and I run a soft furnishing business.

We don't touch memory foam with a bargepole.

And fibre wrapped foam won't last as well as normal foam as the fibre will condense with use unless it's really overstuffed to start with. The fibre can also creep into lumps if the cushions aren't channel stitched. Nearly all of the seat cushions we sell are medium foam due to reliability.
