Red brick modern house with large windows, which are currently stained teak. I want to paint them. I definitely don't want white.

I'm wondering about FB Railings or Studio Green, or going lighter with something like the woodwork colours on these pics. The front door would I think need to be the same colour as the frames as it's part of a feature window thing and it would look weird if we painted it a different colour.

That’s a lovely colour against your yellowy brick. Did you make that seat cushion too? The fabric is beautiful!

My friend has her windows painted in F&B Ball Green and they look fantastic. No pictures I’m afraid but it looks lovely with red brick

Is her house modern, NoParticular? I think I'm being such a chicken about it because I can see lovely greens and blues on period homes and they look great but I'm not sure how they'd look on a big red brick box with lots of glass.

@BiffKipperAndTwattingChip it is a modern barn conversion. So although the structure itself is old, much of the facing brick and the interior are modern. Hers are not dissimilar to this pin.it/oze2fovvsegtib (but in ball green obviously!)

Thanks! I wish it was like indoors, where you can just paint a load of samples, I'm really struggling to visualise what it will be like.

For a modern house I think I’d go dark, something like Railings or Black Blue. The paler grey greens say cottage/period house to me rather than modern. With red brick I think dark blue grey might be better than dark green.

Can you paint samples on bits of board and lean them up against your door to see which one works best?
